Budget vs Actual Spreadsheet
This report is only available for subscribers to the budgets feature.
An Excel report with that compares budget to actual values. This report gives you a complete view of your organization and makes it easier to compare budget to actual values for meters or buildings throughout the year.
Set your filters for Report-07
- Select the budget version for the report.
- Decide how to group the data for the report.
- Do you want to include only Active accounts? If this filter is not included your report includes both active and inactive.
- Include Bill is from external vendor?
- Include or not include void bills?

Required filters for Report-07
- Budget version - select a version to use for the report.
- Group by - decide how to group the data, by meter, organization, or site.
Recommended filters for Report-07
- Account is active - If this filter is not included, includes both active and inactive accounts are including in the report.
Optional Filters for Report-07
- Accounts in cost center code - use this filter to include accounts directly under one or more cost centers.
- Accounts in cost center name - use this filter to include accounts directly under one or more cost centers.Bill is from external vendor.
- Bill is approved
- Bill is from external vendor - When this filter is not selected, the report includes data from both vendor (external) and chargeback (internal) bills.
- Bill is void - If this filter is not included both void and not void are included.
- Building code
- Building name
- commodity
- Commodity category
- Exported to AP
- Exported to GL
- Held from accounting export
- Include accrual bills
- Meter code
- Meter name
- Meter group - Lets you filter the report to a specific group of meters.
- Site group - Lets you filter the report to a specific group of sites.
- Topmost cost center code - When you use this filter you are selecting the topmost cost center you want to be included. When you set a topmost cost center it is the highest level of the accounting tree used, this lets you select a subset of data for reporting.
- Topmost cost center name - When you use this filter you are selecting the topmost cost center you want to be included. When you set a topmost cost center it is the highest level of the accounting tree used, this lets you select a subset of data for reporting.
- Topmost place code - Select the topmost organization or site you want to be included. When you set a topmost organization or site it is the highest level of the facilities tree used, this lets you select a subset of data from your tree for reporting.
