Emissions Summary (Excel Only)

This report provides an Excel-based view of monthly carbon emissions for a 12-month period. It supports flexible grouping and is commonly used for greenhouse gas reporting to organizations such as the CDP or EPA.

What the report shows

  • Monthly emissions data for a selected 12-month period.
  • Totals based on your selected Group by option.

You can group data by:

  • Collection
  • Commodity
  • Emissions source
  • Meter
  • Organization
  • Scope category
  • Site

Why it’s useful

Use this report to:

  • Prepare GHG reports for external organizations.
  • Analyze monthly emissions trends.
  • Organize emissions data by different structures or categories.
  • Export data to Excel for further analysis and reporting.

  1. Decide if you need to narrow the focus of the report.
    • Select a specific group of buildings or meters.
    • Set the filter Topmost place name or Topmost place code.

  • Date range - Set the timeframe for the report.
  • Group by - This determines what is on each row of the report.

Recommended filters for Report-46

  • Market based Location based emissions are used if this filter is not selected or set to No.
  • Meter group - Filter for specific groups, to include all the group members do not set a topmost filter. TIP: You can combine with other filters if you want to refine your results.
  • Site group - lets you filter the report to a specific group of sites.
  • Topmost collection code - Select the topmost collection you want to be included. When you set a topmost collection it is the highest level in the tree used, this lets you select a subset of data from your tree for reporting.
  • Topmost collection name - Select the topmost collection you want to be included. When you set a topmost collection it is the highest level in the tree used, this lets you select a subset of data from your tree for reporting.
  • Topmost place code - Select the topmost organization or site you want to be included. When you set a topmost organization or site it is the highest level of the facilities tree used, this lets you select a subset of data from your tree for reporting.
  • Topmost place name - Select the topmost organization or site you want to be included. When you set a topmost organization or site it is the highest level of the facilities tree used, this lets you select a subset of data from your tree for reporting.
