Routes

Some organizations may read meters in a predetermined pattern each month, in UtilityManagement this is called a route.

Manage routes

You manage routes in the Interval Data module. Before you can save a route it must contain at least one meter with a monthly channel.

You can only add or remove meters within your topmost permissions.

Duplicate meters

To change the route order, insert a row where needed and choose the meter you want to move. You don't need to delete the duplicate as UtilityManagement saves the list with the first occurrence of the meter and removes any duplicates.

You cannot delete a route with meters outside your topmost permissions.

Enter route readings with spreadsheet

A Create Route Readings spreadsheet is available for recording monthly submeter readings and uploading them into UtilityManagement. 

Because this process uses standard Excel functionality, submeter readings can be recorded on smartphones and tablets–even without internet activity.
