Using Watts AI to explore your utility bill data

The chat function of Watts AI is a large language model (LLM) designed to help you quickly explore your utility bill data and get answers in a conversational way. You can ask Watts AI about your sites, meters, billing details, and more, and it will generate reports or explanations based on the data available in your EnergyCAP environment.

The Watts AI is a separate module and is listed as the last module on the module bar.

Performance considerations

Currently, Watts AI performs best when your question involves 50 meters or fewer. Work is underway to support larger and more complex queries through field reduction, but there is no set timeline for this enhancement.

EUI (Energy Use Intensity)

  • EUI calculations or reports

    • These require specialized data and are harder to retrieve than other data types

Billing audits

  • Audit-related questions

    • For example: “How many bills are held up by Flag and Hold audits?”

Groups and benchmarks

  • Group data
  • Benchmark comparisons

Rates

  • Rate schedules
  • Rate calculations or rate-related data
