Using Watts AI to explore your utility bill data
The chat function of Watts AI is a large language model (LLM) designed to help you quickly explore your utility bill data and get answers in a conversational way. You can ask Watts AI about your sites, meters, billing details, and more, and it will generate reports or explanations based on the data available in your EnergyCAP environment.
The Watts AI is a separate module and is listed as the last module on the module bar.
Key capabilities include:
- Access is tied to your user permissions — if your user has access, Watts will have access
- Access to the EnergyCAP Help Center
- Improved tables and charts
- Hyperlinks when referencing objects in EnergyCAP
- Access to all GET APIs
- Export results to a CSV file
Performance considerations
Currently, Watts AI performs best when your question involves 50 meters or fewer. Work is underway to support larger and more complex queries through field reduction, but there is no set timeline for this enhancement.
