Interval Data widgets

Interval data widgets are no longer static, they update every five minutes. A timestamp in the bottom right of each widget shows when the data was last refreshed. Hover over the popover to see when the last update was. Filters and setup remain the same.

Watts AI (Beta)

Watts AI can now better understand your EnergyCAP data. Key capabilities include:

  • Access is tied to your user permissions — if your user has access, Watts will have access
  • Access to the EnergyCAP Help Center
  • Improved tables and charts
  • Hyperlinks when referencing objects in EnergyCAP
  • Access to all GET APIs

Bill Line Type mapping warning

A warning has been added to help explain that bill errors will occur if the system cannot correctly convert a mapping. The following guidance is now displayed:

Mapping unlike types will cause bill errors.

In the Excel file, map each caption to the same type of bill line — map charges to charges and use to use. A bill line in EnergyCAP that contains both a cost and use, or both a cost and demand, should not be mapped to a charge.

For example, the spreadsheet will let you map a Credit with both a use and cost to a Prior Balance charge, but the system cannot convert between these types. It will convert the Credit use to a charge.

Easier-to-read calculated formulas

For calculated meters and calculated channels, the meter and channel name now displays as a label, making formulas easier to read.

Adjustments to Chargebacks run on monthly channels

With updates to interval data to handle more granular data, adjustments were needed for how monthly channels are used to create chargeback bills. Enhancements have been made behind the scenes to ensure that monthly chargeback bills are created consistently with legacy interval data.

Weather stations displayed on spaces

Spaces now display the associated weather station on the properties card. Weather stations are inherited from the site. Meters under spaces also display their weather station.
